MAVERICK CATEGORY PHILOSOPHY
No Maverick bike falls neatly into a box that the rest of the bike industry uses for categorization. For example, to say that a bike is a “cross-country” bike, traditionally indicates that it could not be considered a “freeride” bike at the same time. Or if a bike is great at descending very rocky trails in Colorado, it couldn’t also be great at climbing long smooth hills in Moab. We’re not too comfortable with those conventions. We feel like they limit the scope of Maverick’s uncommonly capable bikes. So, take our general guidelines with a grain of salt, and just go test ride a Maverick, any Maverick, today. We guarantee that you’ll be surprised at all the kinds of riding, and places that you suddenly like to ride.
