At Maverick, we didn’t set out to be different for the sake of being different. We weren’t shooting to create something out-of-this-world–that nobody had ever seen before, either. Our goal was to simply start with a clean slate when it came to the design of our suspension. We just wanted to enjoy our rides more, and we thought maybe there was something missing in the traditional thinking of suspension. What we ended up with is unusual in some ways, but in our opinion, unusual in all the right ways.

We noticed something after we started selling Maverick products. The people who are buying Maverick products, are a different breed. On their bike and off, they aren’t trying to be flashy and break a bunch of rules, but they aren’t about to let the opinions of a few who don’t “get it” stand in their way either. They are passionate about life and about riding. They know what gives them goose bumps, and they’ll do anything to get that feeling–even if that means making choices that are untraditional. You might call them mavericks.
