Mike West, is our main Maverick’s factory pro rider for 2008. Mike consistently finishes on the podium in national-level Super D events, while competing in everything from downhill to four cross races as well. Mike is the defending Mountain States Cup series champion in Super D.

The 2007 GoFast team will be racing on the new Maverick Durance model with DUC32 forks. This extremely competitive team includes Jesse Swift, Josh Bezecny, Matt Unger and Brian Laiho…all accomplished cross-country / multi-event racers with strong results.
Jesse was second overall in the 2006 Mountain States Cup Super D, and is the 2005 MSC Cross Country and Colorado State Champion. Josh is two-time collegiate national mountain bike champion in cross-country and omnium. Matt and Brian also have years of professional racing experience in a variety of disciplines, and will focus this year on Super D events.


Travis Macy, Adventure Racer, Boulder, CO

Recently dubbed an "adventure racing prodigy" by Adventure Sports Magazine, Travis has rushed from a successful history of running, triathlon, and snowshoe racing into a career as a professional adventure racer. Travis acquired noteworthy adventure racing results in 2006 while riding a Maverick ML7: 1st at Raid Australia, 1st at Adventure Xstream Moab, 2nd at Camdex Mexico, 5th at the Raid World Championship (Canada), and 7th at the AR World Championship (Sweden).  He spent the winter training in , placing 3rd at the Mongataupo Mountain Bike Challenge and 17th at the Speight's Coast to Coast Multisport World Championship.  Travis is excited to hop on a Durance this year for the Teva Mountain Games, Leadville 100 MTB, 24 Hours of , Adventure Xstream AR Series, and more.

Jane's passion for mountain biking started in her native England. Now living in New York, she has been racing her way through the ranks of the northeast race scene for the past four years. After winning the New Jersey series title for four consecutive years, 2007 will see Jane venturing into the elite ranks racing the NORBA Nationals, the Hudson to Highlands, the Mid-Atlantic Super series and the Route 66 Series. She is also supported by Yorktown Cycles her favorite bike shop and local Maverick dealer.

Christi began riding mountain bikes a few years back and has been hooked ever since. 2007 is her first year as a sponsored rider in 24 hour solo events. In the 24 Hrs. of Old Pueblo, her first race this year, Christi finished 4th in a field of 26 riders. Christi is a full-time realtor in Boise, Idaho and is proud to call Idaho Mountain Touring her “home” bike shop.
